This paper reviews the results of five studies that investigated the use of antibiotics (vancomycin, metronidazole, rifaximin, and minocycline) in 124 PSC patients.

Specifically, this paper analyzes the impacts of the antibiotics on the following biomarkers: Mayo PSC Risk Score (MRS), ALP, total serum bilirubin, and adverse events.
